It’s the sarnie that you’ve dreamt of – a Chicken Kiev sandwich!! LickyPlate pulled out all the stops with this one, with crispy chicken oozing with garlic buttery French’s deliciousness, in a baguette! Super simple – droolworthy results.
50ml French’s Classic Yellow Mustard
2 chicken breasts
2 garlic cloves
1 white baguette
20g crispy onions
1L vegetable oil (for frying) Preparation Method
Pound out the chicken breasts until flat.
Mix 25ml of French’s Mustard with butter, garlic and the herbs. Place the butter mix in the middle of the chicken breasts and fold tightly to seal, and put in the fridge to chill.
After 15 minutes, roll parcels in flour, egg then breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a deep pan to 180 degrees and add chicken parcels, frying for six minutes.
Remove from oil and place in a 180 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Slice your baguette in half and slather each side with French’s.
Place cooled chicken in the baguette and top with crispy onions.
Slice open to see that gorgeous filling and enjoy!
