Asian Style Ham Sandwich Recipe

Mix up your typical ham sandwich which this Asian twist. It's the perfect idea for a quick and easy lunch that let you explore new flavours.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

75 ml French’s® Classic Yellow® Mustard
175 ml Asian sesame ginger dressing
50 ml soy sauce
90 ml mayonnaise, divided
6 French rolls, 15 cm, split and toasted
625 g thinly sliced deli fresh ham, heated
375 ml shredded carrots
3 jalapeños, seeded and thinly sliced
360 ml thinly sliced cucumber
360 ml sliced red onion
90 ml cilantro sprigs



  • COMBINE mustard, sesame dressing and soy sauce in a bowl and whisk to blend; set aside.
  • SPREAD 15 ml mayonnaise on bottom half of each roll. Top each with 3 to 4 slices ham, 30 ml Asian mustard dressing, 60 ml each cucumber, red onion and 15 ml cilantro. Cover with top half of roll.
  • SERVE each sandwich with 30 ml additional Asian mustard dressing on the side.
  • ALTERNATIVELY you can replace ham with chicken or smoked turkey.
